Today I also have phone interviews every 30 minutes from 10am-4pm for a nanny 3 days a week and administrative assistant 2 days per week. With as nervous as people get before an interview, I gotta say, being the interviewer is just as nerve wracking! I really need to take this step in hiring outside help if I want my business to reach the next level. Nobody other than family has ever really watched our girls & the stress of having an outside influence is scary. My major disappointment in the administrative assistant interviews is the lack of preparedness on the part of the applicants. None of the people I interviewed knew what Pure Romance was. I mean.... hello, GOOGLE IT! At the most basic level, all these interviews were scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, how hard is it to look up the company you'll be interviewing for?
During the between times of the interviews I took the girls to Munchkin Playland for lunch and playtime. One of the great things about my job is the flexibility to work around my life. I'm the boss, so I get to define what "work" looks like. I wouldn't have it any other way!
In the evening I spent 10 minutes compiling photos from my Chicago adventures as inspiration for my team. The 2nd quarter contest allows consultants from every level to compete for a trip to Chicago. I happen to LOVE the city, so I will be aiming to win it also! Almost everyone on my team will be competing at the Advanced Consultant or Senior Consultant level. I have 1 woman that will be competing at the Director level. I am competing at the National Director level. I have my goal, I set a plan, and I plan to succeed!
